If you are throwing a party, I would get a few different kinds. Such as a plain, a barbeque and some tortilla chips. Have some dips available for people to try and these three may just cover your bases. Of course the idea of having plain chips and plain tortilla chips with all kinds of dips and/or salsa would be great that way you wouldnt offend anyone, and they can make it whatever flavor they like with the variety you have displayed. I hope this helps.

All chips are the best kind, it depends on what type of dip you will be serving. Tortilla chips work well with guacamole and salsa. Ridge potato chipsand corn chips are good for onion dip, sour dough bread chips are good for spinach dip. The name brands are good if you want a certain flavor but the generic brands work well for dips and salsa. I hope that I've been some help. Good luck on the party.

Here's my ranking. You should offer more than just one kind, it would help people who don't like certain kinds of chips.
1. BBQ
2. Potato Chips
3. Tortilla chips
4. Sour Cream and Onion

Ok, here's what you do. Since you are having a party, go out and buy yourself some party dip. It's a chip dip that goes great with Ruffles and you know it must be good because the name of it is party dip, and guess what, you are having a party. So I guess you should get Ruffles to go with that sweet dip. G Luck

Lays are hands down the lightest most perfectly seasoned chips out there today, AND they come in a variety of flavors and sizes. Perfect for a party!

Mission's Tortilla chips are good. I also like to mix Baked Lays Masterpiece BBQ chips with pretzel sticks for a low fat snack.

Nacho cheese Doritos are my favorite, but plain tortilla chips or plain potato chips served with various dips are good choices too-just as long as there are no double-dippers.
