I was eating a burrito bol from Chipotle, and it had pinto beans in it. I don't like pinto beans, so I said "I don't like pinto beans."

Someone said, "You mean, there is a food out there that you will not eat?"

I went on to say, ignoring that comment, "I don't like any beans really. I don't like pinto beans, lima beans, black beans, etc. But I do like pork & beans." Then, after a second of thinking, I thought, "What kind of beans are in pork & beans?" And so, I posted this question. Why would I like the beans in pork & beans, and not every other kind of beans?

Just a question of curiousity...

A friend of mine raises green beans for a canning company. If weather keeps them from harvesting the green beans at the correct time, they allow them to mature then harvest them for use in pork and beans.
