Or I have some wholemeal rolls in the fridge and some tuna but its Friday- surely I deserve something naughty!
What are you having? Inspire me people!

I like sardines in oil with a lot of crackers and especially the ones with the larger backbones that crunch more.

I like sliced bananas with (real) mayonnaise spread over them.

I like creamed tuna on toast (not so unusual).

Fried green tomatoes; octopus jerky; bread and tomatoes (can of tomatoes mixed in with bread, cooked with sugar added); cream style corn on bread; chicken gizzards; chicken livers; and pickled eggs.

While this isn’t unusual, I think I like these two items much more than most people: Watermelon and snow ice-cream.

If you have something real unusual consider posting the recipe as well.

No kidding: a friend of mine, trying to describe the taste and texture, said: pineapple texture with a butter flavour.

Nobody else really agreed with him, though. (Do you?)

Can anybody give me an idea of what chicken tastes like, referencing things other than meat/seafood/poultry? (I have, no joke, never eaten 'em.) What's the texture like?

I did accidentally bite in to a piece of chicken once for a second, and thought "eww, it was like biting down on my own arm!" -- but that was Taco Bell fajita chicken, and I wouldn't recommend, say, getting an idea of cheese from the cheap stuff they use... But was it at all an accurate impression?

My hubby just went out and bought some children's Motrin and Tylenol- both liquids. The Motrin contains acesulfame potassium and the Tylenol contained sucralose (splenda). It seems as though they are sneakily doing it by not making it clear on the box that the product contains artificial sweetners, hence most consumers are unaware of this practice. I steer clear of these ingredients in the foods I purchase and feed my family. I know that they have been using alchohol derivatives like sorbitol for years. I'm not as opposed to these. What is the purpose of this? Why not just use sugar??? I am both curious and furious!
