I like sardines in oil with a lot of crackers and especially the ones with the larger backbones that crunch more.
I like sliced bananas with (real) mayonnaise spread over them.
I like creamed tuna on toast (not so unusual).
Fried green tomatoes; octopus jerky; bread and tomatoes (can of tomatoes mixed in with bread, cooked with sugar added); cream style corn on bread; chicken gizzards; chicken livers; and pickled eggs.
While this isn’t unusual, I think I like these two items much more than most people: Watermelon and snow ice-cream.
If you have something real unusual consider posting the recipe as well.

On a little different note, I drove through a small town and stopped at their fast food drive-in. It looked like the typical hamburger menu. I ordered a hotdog with no onions. Seemed there was a big issue about the onions but I made it clear I didn’t want onions. They brought out a hotdog with bun, wiener, and ketchup... nothing else. I thought the no-onions request must have confused them or I got someone else’s order so I pushed the button and told them my hotdog had ketchup instead of mustard. Sort of irritated she said, “We don’t put mustard on it unless you request it... did you want mustard too?”
I think a little less weird are those places that put mayonnaise on a hamburger as default unless you request mustard.

Wheat germ in slightly odd things, like soups and spaghetti sauce.
Ploughman's lunches -- an awful lot of people turn their nose up at the Branston pickle and the pickled onion.

My fiancé almost always has his pizza with green olives and pineapple; not a popular choice. A guy at one pizzeria I ordered from paused noticeably, and politely but hesitantly said, "Those two ingredients don't really go together..."
Re. your "bread and tomatoes (can of tomatoes mixed in with bread, cooked with sugar added)" -- I like something similar; the tomatoes, bread in the form of bread crumbs, and parmesan rather than sugar, baked.
And, I submit that watermelon and snow is indeed weird, if only because those two aren't often seen at the same time. At least not here (Canada). Maple syrup on snow has its followers, though.

I was raised on really "healthy" food before it became so in vogue so I have to say that I love cow tongue. It is fabulous if cooked correctly. My mother boiled it in onions, bay leaves, salt, and pepper. Let it cool, peel the skin off and slice it. Sounds disgusting but it is so good. Pizza with a smear of sour cream is good too.

Two words--boiled okra. I guess it's something about the green slime snotty looking stuff that hangs off of your fork that can make others lose their appetite but they're so delicious, especially with a little salt and pepper.

Sushi i think would be the #1, although even people who like sushi do not understand my serious love of pickled ginger, i eat the stuff straight. Even I can admit its pretty odd.
