I find that while i'm preheating the grill and while the meat is inside cooking w/ the lid closed,
I can hear a tiny clicking/cracking sound.
it does this randomly every 15-20 seconds maybe
it just clicks/cracks once, and im sure its not the plates.
What could be causing this sound? because i dont feel that anything is loose within the grill, i shook it and it was fine.
Is it normal? and does it happen to you too?

At potlucks, they tell how good my food is and ask for a recipe, but as soon as I say an organic brand or ingredient, they don't want to talk about it. I don't get it.

Hey. This sound a little crazy but I've become very fond of ginger (the herb, not the colour!). I love it... I've had it before in the past but have recently appreciated it. How does it help you health wise. I've started to add it to my soups, curries etc and buy crystalized ginger stem but obviously scrape away the suger-coating with warm water.

Personally i could live without Sara Molton, shes just annoying, Sandra Lee with everything mostly store bought and then she puts it all out on way too extravagant table settings, and Michael Chairrillo- he cooks everything like everone has thier own vinyard in Napa like he does with expensive hard to find items, and that one lady with "quick fix meals" where she uses one item, cooks it and uses it for three different things during the week ....i dont like thier shows or care much for what/how they cook. What about you?

I like macadamia nuts best. Here's some other suggestions: peanuts, cashews, hazelnuts, almonds, pecans, pistachios, brazil nuts, walnuts, pinenuts, chestnuts. Which ones taste the best and no rude answers please.

So, this season my budget is tight and I want to put crab bisque in a decorated glass jar. The recipe includes canned soup concentrates and milk and half & half. Is storing them in the jars ok since it will be at room temp? Will it spoil in the airtight container without preservatives? Can I even do 2-3 day shipping to my family? Thank you soooooo much.

I want to put ut a line of breath mints. I want to do it myself...I do not want to approach candy companies and see if they are interested in buying it, etc. etc. I just want to make the product, package it, and sell it. I have learned here, and from a few other places, that a "co-packer," preferably one that works with this specific kind of product, will be needed to handle the packaging, storing, and shipping of the product, but what of MAKING the product? Where do I turn to get the product actually cooked, dyed, baked, cut, whatever...???

I do not know how to make these products myself, nor do I have the facilities to do so.

Does anybody know this? When I spoke to co-packers, 18 in all just this morning, I was told "dunno." I have scoured the Internet, as well as calling dozens of candy companies, just for good measure. No one has an answer about this. Can this be that difficult to learn? Where does a piece of candy get MADE???

Thank you.
