Well, it depends whats on the beef (bacteria wise). Most likley you'd get very sick, as bacteria thrives on raw meat. You'd very likley get sick with something like salmonela. If your lucky all that would happen is that you'd throw up.

Only if it is contaminated with E. Coli or another dangerous bacterium.
Symptoms of e. coli:
Symptoms start about 7 days after you are infected with the germ. The first sign is severe abdominal cramps that start suddenly. After a few hours, watery diarrhea starts. The diarrhea causes your body to lose fluids and electrolytes (dehydration). This makes you feel sick and tired. The watery diarrhea lasts for about a day. Then the diarrhea changes to bright red bloody stools. The infection makes sores in your intestines, so the stools become bloody. Bloody diarrhea lasts for 2 to 5 days. You might have 10 or more bowel movements a day. Some people say their stools are "all blood and no stool."
You may have a mild fever or no fever. You may also have nausea or vomiting. If you have any of these symptoms -- watery, bloody diarrhea, cramps, fever, nausea or vomiting -- try to get to your doctor right away.

Tartar is raw beef. I wouldn't think people would eat it if they were going to throw up. But I think it's very fresh and a specific type

it depends if the beef is spoiled or not. when i was a little girl my father took raw hamburger and put it on bread with salt and pepper and ketchup and ate it. i never saw him vomit afterwards. but today the laws regarding sanitation are not as strict as it was when i was young. i would not trust raw beef today because of contamination. its best to cook it thoroughly.

In a very excellent restaurant, it is called "Steak Tartar..or spelling Steak Tartare"....and it's raw steak ground.....I tried it once.....only once...
No, but if it's not the best meat it could have e-coli and other stuff from handling ....yes kitchen people and stuff....and that won't be killed by cooking...because it's raw...and then you get sick...but don't think you throw up...just get aweful sick and could...yes could kill you!
