So, this season my budget is tight and I want to put crab bisque in a decorated glass jar. The recipe includes canned soup concentrates and milk and half & half. Is storing them in the jars ok since it will be at room temp? Will it spoil in the airtight container without preservatives? Can I even do 2-3 day shipping to my family? Thank you soooooo much.

The only way you can store canned meat at higher temps is to pressure can it. Go to a large hardware store like OSH, and price the canning pressure cookers. There should be instructions that come with it on how to can seafood. Basically, any low acid food needs to be brought up to pressure (usually 15 #), and held for a minimum of 15 minutes. For seafood, the time may be much longer. Use canning jars that have been sterilized, and LIGHTLY put the cap on. After the jars have been cooked, allow the cooker to come back to normal pressure, and CAREFULLY open it. Using heavy thermal gloves/mittens, tightly seal the jars and allow to cool. This will kill the bad things like botulism. The bisque should be used within 3 months of canning.

selfmade presents take plenty greater time so I prefer to cause them to myself through fact then the guy who you made it for is conscious that it become for them. shop offered presents are super too yet merely understanding somebody took that beyond familiar time to make something is going a protracted way.
