Any Ideas what to do? Also most of my friends aren't of age so I was thinking of throwing down in my apt. But what do I do?? Help please!!!

We are a construction mgmt department combining 2 offices into one. Both offices are somewhat apprehensive about the transition to one office - so I'd like to make light of that somehow. Help!

His mother is on a diet where she eats no carbs (nothing) and his dad is diabetic and has dentures (no corn on the cob).

I need a recipie for a salad and anything else that you think might be good with pork chops.

Also, this is our first time having them over. We are pretty close to them, but I have never hosted anything on my own and am still a little unsure of things...any tips for general hosting would be great too.

I am going to be holding a small afternoon tea during the FA cup final and there are going to be fans of both Chelsea and Man U there. How do I keep them from offending my elderly neighbours without ruining our own festivities?

My hubby is coming home from Afghanistan on the 14 May 07. He has to go to Fort Drum, New York before he can come back to Alabama. I am throwing him a surprise party when he gets to Alabama but what am I missing? Here is what I got so far:
Balloons, garland, plates, cups, napkins, American flags, chips, pretzels, frozen meats (chicken, steaks, ribs, etc.), grill, stereo, tablecloths, sparkle candles, can drinks, cake mixes and icing for the cake and cupcakes, those decoration things that you put on cakes and cupcakes, roasting pans and covers or the meat to go in, plastic utensils, lots of decorations that can be put in the ground (red, white, and blue flowers, flag pinwheels, etc.), I am going to invite the people later since I don't know the exact day he will be here, bags of ice I will buy closer to party, and that's all I have. I want this to be HUGE! He is gettting out of the Army on medical discharge and I want this to be the best for him. What else can I get? More foods? What?

I have to cook for my first mother's day for my parents and my inlaws. Unfortunately there are a lot of different strong food dislikes. My father won't eat shellfish or mushrooms, my inlaws are Chinese and disgusted by cheese, on top of that my mother in law is diabetic and my father in law won't eat tomato sauce. I need something to feed these 10 picky eaters that won't take my whole day (which should be spent relaxing) slaving in the kitchen! Any suggestions?

My parents have a picnic basket that used to be my great-grandmother's. It has no compartments, no special dinnerware or anything inside, it's just a big woven box, basically. It's now falling apart, and I want to get them something similar, but I can't find it anywhere! Everytime I search for "Picnic basket" it comes back with sets that include plates, cups, etc. and come in a smaller basket than I am looking for.
