Your guest should always be served first. After-all, isn't that why you invited them, to serve them a meal?

The Adult Female Guest.
The Adult Male Guest.
Head of the House.
Older Children and descend in age, the guest children ahead of your own children if they are about the same age.

You should serve them the 1st ,2nd ,and 3rd time they come to your house to make them feel welcomed. After that they should be on there own.

If there are children, they should get served first... if not then women first then men.

just put the food on the table with plates , spoons...etc and let them serve themselves!!(clever idea ... )...good luck !
