You know sometimes I eat steaks left over on the counter tops on the next day and, well, after one good re-grilling, it tastes awesome. I am still alive..... Anything that has been cooked, you probably killed all harmful bacteria already. So an overnight stay in the counter might only hurt you if the dog chewed it up or a fly laid a few eggs. Hum.... good one... Now, that is food in your house and assuming you have a clean home. Food left over in the trunk? Hum... not a good idea. Remember the flies....

If in doubt, throw it out.
Potentially hazardous food (of which both steak and shrimp would be) are considered unsafe it over 41F for over 4 hours.
If the steak and shrimp were hard frozen when bought, they may not have been in the danger zone long enough. Otherwise, it's not worth the risk.
Cooking well-done would kill any bacteria, but the taste and texture would be unpalatable.

NO... Don't eat it. A simple rule of thumb is "Best in 30 or Less!" If you can't get leftovers from a restaurant home and in your fridge within 30 minutes or less you should probably trash them.
I would let this batch go, and dont feed them to your pets either!
My third book - Checkered Flag Cooking - Tailgating Stock Car Racing has a complete list of safe ways to transport food to and from events such as races, football games, picnics and even your favorite blue plate.

If the temperature outside was between 30 and 34 all night it safe to eat otherwise its really iffy. Especially the shrimp - they really need refridgerating all the time.
A risk I would not take.

They should still be alright, unless it has been a really hot night.
Smell them and if they do smell a little cook them straight away.
The meat will last a lot longer than the shrimp. If the shrimp is already cooked I would probably still use them.
Try giving one to the cat. If it turns its nose up you know they are off.

Only if it is very cold where you live. Like. less than 40 degrees Fahrenheit the entire time the food was in there.
Meat should never be out for more than an hour.
I wouldn't eat it.
