Okay, I asked earlier for ideas for sweet 16. I decided on a limo. for 3 hours. I think this could be a controlled party. Now I need some places for them to go. Starbucks is one idea. Do you have any other cheap-cheap ideas for them to go? Again it can't be someplace where they are left to wander or get in trouble.

....from people at my work. Everyone bugged me to have this big bash. So of course, I spent all this money on food & liqour (which i really didnt have) and everone said theyd be there. Noone showed up & didnt even have the decency to call. All except for 5 people! What should i say to them that'll make them feel like crap? (remember...since i have to work with them, it cant be vulgar. I wish)

For example, sometimes at a dinner party, I'll have a guest who asks me to change their individual serving so that they don't get a certain ingredient (or want extra of a certain thing.) What is a polite way to handle this as a hostess w/o actually having to fulfill their request (which would make me feel reduced to a short-order cook)?
