Of course. I open the lid and just give them all a little wiggle to make sure they are all free. If any are broken or cracked the white of the egg leaks out and makes the egg stick to the carton.

Absolutely! You shouldn't use an egg if it is cracked. You wouldn't pay for a broken car would you? I also check to see if the eggs are perfectly clean.

Yes of course, there is nothing worse than getting a carton with broken eggs. Not only do you not get all the eggs you paid for you get a nice gooey mess to clean up.

Yes why would'nt you? I mean first off you are paying for something you have the right to then buy undamaged items. Secondly and more importantly.. with bringing home broken or cracked eggs and then using them you risk getting sick or your family sick. We check the expiration or use by date and each egg top to bottom to make sure they are not cracked etc.

I check them back in the dairy department where I get my eggs because they will check them at the register. I hate waiting for them to send the little stock boy back to get a carton that aren't broken. It's just easier to check them myself.

I not only check the top, but also the bottom. If the eggs have broken there'll be spots on the bottom even if the tops look perfect.

If possible I do. My mother taught me. I like the money put to good use, thank you. I don't like to waste things like money or food. Makes me guilty. It's a good deal when you get two egg cartons in one, but you can't tell if anything is broken. So then I just pray. LOL.

Always - takes only a moment to lift the lid to check. A person is paying for an undamaged product so you might as well take the time to check them.
