Okay, I asked earlier for ideas for sweet 16. I decided on a limo. for 3 hours. I think this could be a controlled party. Now I need some places for them to go. Starbucks is one idea. Do you have any other cheap-cheap ideas for them to go? Again it can't be someplace where they are left to wander or get in trouble.

Honestly you could take them anywhere in the limo and they would be happy. It is the fact that they are in a limo and people see them. They would feel great! So just take them where people can see them and people they know and I think they would enjoy it.

I would think that part of the fun of going in a limo is to be seen when you get out. Another part of the fun is to be going somewhere - not just traveling around (just my personal preference). For a 16 year old, I can understand you not wanting them to wander around/get into trouble, but a StarBucks should only be a small pit stop and not a destination, I would think. Is there a place they can drive to for 1 hour, do whatever for 1 hour and come back in the limo for the last hour? The mall? The beach? A 16 and _under_ dance club? School football/basketball game? Arcade? Go-kart racing? Mini-golf? All in all, a great and generous gift of you! Should be a blast!

--is there a drive in movie theatre in your town (a dying breed, I know, but we have one in our town and people love it - all ages). If you do, you can provide a picnic for them and they get to do something fun and different.

--is there a 'game' going on in the area - college? They are less expensive than professional - take them to that game...Provide for a tail gate party

--is there anywhere in your town that they have mystery dinner party? Invites would include: join a mystery - your role will be that of ????? and you need to dress the part wiht 'homemade' outfit...They then get to the place of the mystery party and have dinner and play the 'game'. We did it for a 40's party and it was so much fun. Each invite not only provided the role the person was to play but a script and a promise to keep it a secret.

--See if Mary Kay or someone like that in your area will provide in their (Mary Kay) building/offices a dress up/makeup party then photos in different outfits (the kids would pay for their own photos) Mary Kay normally just provides everything - for the guys they could do a separate thing (MK) - gift ideas. Provide all the snacks/drinks....MK and photographer will have the customes

If impressing their peers is part of the agenda, driving around anywhere they might be seen -- the mall parking lot, for example, or any other teen hangout.

Going through a drive-thru can be fun in a limo too, for the novelty factor.
