It seems to be that the prices range anywhere from $3.00 to $20.00. The last site www.partypro.com is a site you can buy in bulk and they even have an item that has an assortment of masks. The best thing to do instead of providing all of the masks for the guests is to suggest that they must wear a masquerade mask to the party as part of the attire. Of course it is always a good idea to have a few handy for those who forgot theirs at home.

A few ideas...Play some New Orleans Jazz or Creole Music. Don't forget the Gumbo. Typical colors for a New Orleans mardi gras/masquerade party are green, gold and purple.

Or are you planning more of a traditional Masquerade Ball click on this for a brief history lesson. Hope this gives you a few ideas.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Masquerade_ball

the best masks i have ever seen were in new orleans and they were on bourbon st which by the way has not suffered too badly from katerina. go online to mardi gras and go from there they can be really cheap or be as expensive as 2000.00+, good luck

Honestly, I got some great ones around Hallowe'en from the dollar store. A crafting store might have premade ones too.
