What kind of cookies do you want to make? There are so many varieties. You ought to do search for "cookie recipes". Some of my favorites are shortbread, oatmeal chocolate chip, and peanut butter.

If you're looking for a chocolate chip cookie recipe, look for Alton Brown (from The Food Network)'s recipe on-line. It's absolutely the best.
