Sooo, I'm drinking tonight and a friend of mine said to drin kcranberry juice. Something about getting drunk faster or better maybe? Or not getting sick? I kno you can mix it and its good for your bladder and stuff but what about drinking it before? Has anyone heard of this? She said she recently read it in a mag?

The UK has real ale; Irish have their stouts and ales; Germans have their equivalents; Belgians also. Even the Yanks have some microbreweries, though they have to pasteurise it. But where else in the world can I find locally brewed "proper beer"?

(Those that don't know what I mean, Fosters, Heinekin, Budweiser, San Miguel, Coors, Tennants Super, et al don't count)

I know this all depends on the area and casino or whatever, and I know I can just go ask them... but they have the most hideous outfits, but if they make okay money I might be able to deal with it. Just curious if anyone has any knowledge on this. It would be in a casino here in the City that is populated by tourists. On the other end, how much should I tip a cocktail waitress when she brings me my drink when I'm gambling? Thanks

How do I take down a beer fast when I'm bonging it or shotgunning it? It seems to take forever and everyone somehow does it faster than I can. I am opening up my throat and taking huge gulps, but it doesn't seem to help (I end up burping really bad because of all the trapped air). Is there something I'm missing?

my most recent batch was an espresso oatmeal stout modeled after troegs oatmeal stout but with the espresso added. before that was a honey porter modeled after sam adams honey porter. best idea/style wins best answer. thanks and have fun!!!
