I know this all depends on the area and casino or whatever, and I know I can just go ask them... but they have the most hideous outfits, but if they make okay money I might be able to deal with it. Just curious if anyone has any knowledge on this. It would be in a casino here in the City that is populated by tourists. On the other end, how much should I tip a cocktail waitress when she brings me my drink when I'm gambling? Thanks

I agree, they make a pretty good living off of tips. As for the matter of tips however... First the tips got to the house, than the bartender, cook and then the waitress. So you leave her a buck she takes home a quarter or less. Give her a little extra more. She's the one walking all day. I feel really bad as a bartender that I make more than the waitresses in tips. They're the ones who have to walk around all day to carry the drinks I make while standing in one spot. I always give them a little extra from my tip jar at the end of my shift but many bartenders won't.

when gambling, a handfull of coins are always good. The better you treat her, the quicker your drinks will come !

Look in the parkng lot and you will aswer or own question...and this is a rule I use in any job search.
The employees cars will tell you how well a company pays !

If every person hands you a handfulf nickles when you bring them a drink......you deliver 100 to 150 drinks an hour...eachhandful has abot a dollar...I would reckon 100 to 150 an hour !

How silly is that dress you have to wear ? Think about it :)

They make a minimum of $100. Good tipping a dollar per drink unless you get like 5 drinks, give her $3.
