I have a bottle of Southern Comfort - and though I love a good whiskey or scotch, I find this stuff plain nasty! Any recipes out there that use it, that are NOT mixed drink recipes?

What is a good wine to bring to a friend's house that doesn't cost a lot but is nice to drink in a causal setting? A recoomendation fro both a whinte and a red would be appreciated. Friends have told me there are good choices for under $5 a bottle.

i've tried it once a couple of months ago- rum with coke- and suffice to say, i didn't like it. even though i am 25, my palate seems to take a dislike to the stuff. i don't drink wine. brandy, vodka, rum or any type of alcohol. i wonder if there is anyone else who prefers water or soft drinks over alcoholic drinks and of whom will be drinking them during or after the xmas meal

I've been drinking this American water (aka beer) for a few days, then I finally bought some Labatt Blue - which actually has flavor and impact. Any other beers worth trying?

My usual drink is Grey Goose (or another top-shelf vodka) and tonic. I was reading the bottle of tonic water yesterday and I saw "contains quinine". What is it?

The cigars were bought online and shipping took about a week and they will need to be stored for about three weeks before being given as a gift.

I love to drink, just about every day. I know there are fake beers, but I also like to get buzzed. What can give me a safe buzz, as an alternative to liquor? I'm trying to save my liver here.

I don't know if it's a "holiday" drink, but it sure warms you up in the winter:
Cafe Nelson
-Hot coffee
-2 shots of Baileys
-1 shot of Frangelico (hazelnut liquor)
-whipped cream on top
