I am looking to know what all you people put in whop or wop? The party i was at that had it was in a rubbermaid storage tub, and they had apples and oranges in it. What kind of alcohol goes with it???

It's a mix of 40% wine with something else with 21% alcohol. It doesn't taste that sweet at first, but wow it tastes better the more I drink I don't even know what taste it is now. The closest guess will get 10 points, well what else do you expect?

1) a California Chandon (no year) Brut Classic
2) a Freixenet Cava...cordon ***** (no year) Brut
3) Charlemagne...poire... demi sec... (no year) Magnum
4) J&B Sarcey Champagne (1991) Vintage reserve brut

Can anyone rank these for me in terms of which ones are better?

I am trying to get any tips on how to spike marashino cherries. I am hoping that someone will be able to provide me with a great recipe. I dont know for sure what type of alcohol would work best...or would result in the best flavor. Ive found a few recipes that call for everclear, however I am not a fan of it.
