I am not very fond of alcohol either. would rather drink squash or juice. i was given a bottle of quinns a few weeks ago, and quite enjoyed it. it was very soft and tasted like apple and blackcurrant squash. quinns could be an alternative to drink if you wanted to drink alcohol, but then it can b quite funny to sit back drink coke and watch your friends be seriously silly whilst getting drunk.

It sounds as though you would like to be able to drink alcohol but have not found anything you like...
Try quinns, a bottled alcoholic fruit juice. It's aimed at women between 20 and 30 who want to go to the bar for a drink after work but who may not know what they want because they want something alcoholic but don't want a drink which has an alcohol taste because it is early in the day...
The red one, I think it's cranberry and blueberry is gorgeous, just like drinking fruit juice - they are also low in fat and around 80 calories a bottle, so they aren't as bad as the usual alcoholic drinks

Hello,
Your in very good company, I 'm not that keen on alcohol myself and I can take it or leave it.
What you might like to know is that alcohol itself is almost tasteless, & pure or highly alcoholic drinks such as potsheen (irish potatoe wiskey), pure vodkas, etc are the most tasteless of all.
**Beers & wines have a specific taste due to the way they were brewed or fermented.
**I think we live in an alcohol obsessed culture here in the UK, partly that is driven by the sheer greed of the drinks makers (i.e. the drive for profits, market share, and shareholder value, etc) and partly as a way for people who's lives have become ever faster and more stressful, to get drunk i.e. the need to losse control for a change rather than always needing to be in control. The problem is that alot of people, young & old alike dont know how to drink without binging or getting drunk to the point of paralysis.
**Alcohol is the one of the most socialy acceptible & available drugs in our society, followed by cannabis as a close second.
**Personally I feel alcohol is totally & utterly over rated as an experience, anyway its not the alcohol that matters but the people & pleasure of the company or friends you are with that matters to me.
**I quite happily drink non alcoholic drinks all night but its weird when everyone else is getting totally out of it as the night goes on.

Very rarely I'll have wine. But for the most part, I dislike the taste of alcohol. And it tends to give me migraines anyway. I have never got any pleasant "high" from alcohol--only flu-like symptoms, so there 's not a lot of motivation there to keep drinking.

I myself can't stand the taste of any of it, and I don't drink it. I don't drink anything that has alcohol in it and just stick to soda and juice. You are not alone in this, there are some poeple out there like that. I also have a friend that don't like it either... If I was you, I would be proud of yourself for not drinking, and stick to it and don't let anyone get you down about it.

I'm an armature mixologist and I'm sure I could make you something you would enjoy, but when it comes to alcohol, I mix them, I don't drink them. I come from a family of alcoholics, so it may be a psychological thing. I can make awesome drinks, but I take a sip or two and that's generally it. I prefer juices and my non-alcoholic cocktails at a party.

I'm not a big fan of alcohol either, i very rarely drink, and even mixed drinks I don't like. I will almost always take a soda over a drink of any kind.

Me. I can't stand the taste of beer. I don't like alcohol either but if you had to drink it you could at least mix it with other things that taste a little better.
We just had our family Christmas party last night. There were 42 of us. The drinks were Sam's Cola, root beer and bottled water.
Not one of had to get drunk to have fun.

Sometimes I just drink coke or red bull when I don't want any liquor. Try a light wine or light alcoholic fruit drink.
