i love animals, hate animal cruelty, and will probably be a vegan in the future when i live on my own and can buy my own food.

but for now...

eating meat is apart of life. Its natural. we eat meat, then we die. we go into the earth and grass grows. who eats grass? COWS. and it goes around. its the natural circle of life. we eat animals, they eat us.

The reason why MOST PEOPLE are vegetarians is because THE PROCESS they use to grow and kill the animals is cruel. and i agree with that.

but being a vegetarian is stupid.... its like being a half-assed vegan. if you're gonna boycott animal cruelty, be a vegan.

oh and also, fruits and vegetables are alive too. way to go and kill them for food. i guess you just shouldnt eat anything at all.

so do tell me, why are people vegetarians then? whats your reason?

I like sushi and I've been trying to make some spicey tuna california rolls.

I have tried lesser and lesser amounts of rice vinegar, but they are nasty. So far the only good sushi I have made has been without the veniger in the rice. Is this the way a bunch of people do it? Everything I read says to put the vineger in it.

I've been putting 1/4 cup in with a batch of rice. (started out as a cup of rice). thanks

do people ask you why you are a vegatarian?
i get people asking me all the time. and when i answer them, they always say "God made animals for us to eat!" and my answer is always the same:
"God made a lot of things, doesnt mean i have to use them!"

does any vegetarian have people saying this to you?

ok, my mom is letting me cook xmas dinner. i have a budget of $150. my mom already bought the turkey and ham. i'm making everything from scratch. i want to know how much food i can make with my budget. about 5 sides. a cookie tray with 4 types of cookies. and 5 cakes. now reminder everything is made from scratch.
for my desserts and cookies i really only have to buy 1 ingredient because ingredients like flour butter eggs sugar brown sugar...i have around the house.
i made out two menus. 1 menu of all i wanted to make...then a cheap menu that is sufficient but doesn't include everything i want. i don't really grocery shop. i eat day to day. so i dont know how much $150 can buy in small town texas.

i was wonderinh how do u make it i saw a racheal ray eposide and i took some bread dipped it in milk egg and sugar + cinnamon and then i put some flour on it and stuck it in the oven for 10 -20 mintutes is this the correct way or will my version turn out a flop ?
