On Valentines Day I want to make dinner for my husband. Well I got this fantastic recipe from the Food Network for Filet Mignon. I asked my husband if he liked filet mignon and he said no, he rather that I fixed tri tip. My question is, can I prepare the tri tip with the filet mignon recipe? You put a dry rub on it, sear it in a pan and then finish it off in the oven for about 10 min. Will this make the tri tip dry? Do you have a good recipe for tri tip?

I always feel like such a hypocrite, saying what I learned from PETA or whoever and then hearing that whatever I said isn't true, is worst case scenario, etc. But it's so hard to explain why you have a good point in being vegan when you have no support that you know is true. So anything that anyone knows, any facts, links, whatever, that could be of help, please post! I don't care if it's biased against or for vegetarianism, but unbiased is best (of course). Thanks!

I just want to make sure it was just from the drinking. I only ate once before I started drinking vodka and whiskey and it obviously resulting in me throwing up but I had some black stuff eventually come up.

I saw too much people filling the cup of coke or any soda with ice cubes to the top, even when the machine fills the cup with already cooled liquid, I mean, the machine serve beverage already almost frozen and the people use to put ice there anyway, my question is WHY? i cannot understand that behavior.I saw that proceeding in the movie theater and Macdonald's and everywhere I look.

I had this cake back in 4th grade, a classmate brought it in. It wasn't chocolatey or anything, just bundt-shaped and possibly glazed with something. It had little balls you peeled off, size of munchkins maybe. It was so delicious but I can't find out what it is anywhere now that I want to bake it. Help!

I just bought 3.44 lbs king crab legs. I have never cooked crab legs before and looking for advice. After some information I have read it looks like steaming them is the best way. I just want to do it perfect because I spent alot of money and don't want to ruin my romantic V-day dinner :)
