what those white stringy-ish things are in fried rice?

Could be egg. Egg is often used in fried rice. It would turn into thin whitish strings as the rice is stir fried.

If they're bigger crunchy things, you're probably looking at bean sprouts.

it is probably bean sprouts, as the other answeres said. bean sprouts are actually very healthy & delicious. the head, however, i hate because it sticks to my teeth, and i have to literally "suck" it out. however, i dont think you would find bean sprouts in fried rice, so my guess is egg.

it could be either eggs, or bean sprouts.. but they're both good!!
