What do you think could have been missing? If I had to guess I would say salt and chili but when I was preparing them the meat and masa was sooo salty and I used about 20 chilis. Is there another spice of something that goes in to keep the flavor?

I have a recipe for a Plain Sponge Sandwich Cake as follows:

100g soft Margarine
100g Caster Sugar
100g Self-Raising Flour
2 Eggs

Filling:
2 Talespoons Jam

I need to get 5 flavoring that could be added to the cake mixture?
(was thinging orange rind, but not sure?

Then i need to have 2 ingrediants that could be added to the cake mixture to change the texture?

Any help on these two questions would be mostly appreciated!

my crock pot is a 5 qt. and most of the recipes i'm reading about call for a 3.5-4 qt pot. ok, maybe not a huge deal but does that change the amounts of ingredients i use, or cooking time? what should i adjust, if anything?

We had spaghetti bolognaise for dinner tonight and this is the first time I have not sprayed myself with sauce, this was due to a hollow centre in the spaghetti and when the end was near my mouth there was no sudden whip at the end, it was great.
