WHere can i read about owning a franchise? IS it profitable to have one?

Are franchises a pain when it comes to Income taxes? Do i have to work in the restaurant if i own a franchise or do i hire who i want ans simply supervise? Where can I read about how it works? and Read about what its like to be a franchise owner? and what it takes to own a franchise?

my friend says fake chicken isd really good, and so is tofu. ive never had either cause my mom said its not good and she wont waste money on it cause i wont like it and not eat it. so i was wondering if its good cause there are so many good sounding recipes that have tofu and fake meats.

I know people who will get, like, a virgin strawberry daiquiri when they go out to eat. I was wondering if they would be cheaper since there isn’t any alcohol in it. I’ve not noticed non-alcoholic drinks on the menus at restaurants; you have to special order them. So, dose anyone know if imitation-alcoholic drinks are cheaper than their alcoholic counterparts?

I guess there is a wine called Pinot Gris (As the french call it). In translation it's called Grey Pinecone. Why would they name it Grey Pinecone??? Don't guess plz let me know the real answer.
