I'm looking for a recipe for making chewy taco shells at home - they are nothing like the ones in the stores. We have two restaurants ran by hispanic people here that serve them in Muskegon, MI, and they are soooo good. I've not been able to get anyone at either restaurant to divulge the recipe.

The shells are made of corn, slightly fried, and have small perforations in them, most likely to keep them from blistering when being prepared.

They contain the same contents as any regular hard or soft shell taco would, they are just in between the two in texture - chewy.

How to make Ooey Gooey Bars.?

Someone at work made some ooey gooey bars, wouldn't give out the recipe and I was wondering if anyone had one. These were not made with Peanut butter or Chocolate at all, just buttery and sweet, crust was kind of flaky.

Vegetarian babies and children.?

My boyfriend and I are both vegetarian and have been for years. We have been discussing having children at some point in the future.

My boyfriend believes that a vegatarian pregnancy and childhood would be very unhealthy for a child.He thinks the child would be underfed and would probably become very ill.

I disagree and think that such a diet would be perfect for children. I know people who have been veggie all their lives and they are completly healthy and normal. Please help, who is right?
