Depends on the dish. Some will work out better; some might not work so well. If you're making Alfredo sauce, it will be different, but probably pretty good.

Tortelli di zucca con burro e salvia (pumpkin stuffed pasta with a butter & sage sauce), but there are a lot of great pasta dishes. I always look forward to tagliatelli tartuffato at the San Mineato Truffle festival in November too.

you can anything you want, but it might not taste good.
Try cream or evaporated milk instead.

i think you could with some dishes but it may be a little tart i would sample it first sounds good to me

better make a bechamel sauce or you can also use single or double cream. also, adding some grated cheese would definitely make it richer and creamier...delicious!

ive even gone so far as to use cream cheese and once i used ranch dressing in boxed mac & cheese and it was really good!

I would dilute it if I were going to do that - Mix it with water to the desired consistency, unless you want your sauce super-creamy.
