Someone at work made some ooey gooey bars, wouldn't give out the recipe and I was wondering if anyone had one. These were not made with Peanut butter or Chocolate at all, just buttery and sweet, crust was kind of flaky.

That's not very nice that they wouldn't give out the recipes ... I always think that it's flattering to be asked for one of mine, and give it out :O)

Ooey Gooey Granola Bars
Margarine or butter
1 (10 ounce) package large marshmallows
1/4 cup butter or margarine
4 cups granola with raisins
1 1/2 cups crisp rice cereal
1/2 cup shelled sunflower seeds or chopped peanuts

Grease a 13 x 9-inch baking pan with butter or margarine. Set aside

Put marshmallows and the 1/4 cup butter or margarine into a large saucepan. Cook over low heat until marshmallows are melted, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. Remove saucepan from heat.

Stir in granola with raisins, crisp rice cereal and sunflower seeds or peanuts. Transfer mixture to the prepared baking pan. Press with buttered hands to even it out. Let mixture cool. Cut into bars.


OR

OOEY - GOOEY BUTTER BARS

1 yellow cake mix
1 stick butter, melted
2 eggs
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 eggs
1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar

Grease and flour 9 x 13 inch pan. Mix cake mix, butter and 2 eggs well and spread as the bottom layer. Beat cream cheese, 2 eggs and powdered sugar well and spread on top. Bake at 350 degrees 20 to 25 minutes.


OR

OOEY - GOOEY CHEWY BARS

1 c. butter (butter)
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. soda
2 c. flour
2 1/2 c. oatmeal
1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 can condensed sweetened milk
1/2 c. butter

Melt butter and sugars in microwave for 2 minutes. Stir in eggs and soda. Add 2 cups flour; mix, then add oatmeal and mix. Put 2/3 mixture in jelly roll pan. Melt chocolate chips, milk, and 1/2 cup butter in microwave for 2 minutes; mix. Pour over batter. Sprinkle remaining batter on top and swirl. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.


OR

OOEY - GOOEY BARS

1 Betty Crocker butter yellow cake mix
1 stick butter
1 egg
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix together and pat into a 9 x 13 inch pyrex dish sprayed with Pam. Then mix the icing and pour on top.

ICING:

1 box powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. vanilla
