Our pub manager swears his Cornish Pasties are the genuine article. "You can only get Cornish Pasties from Cornwall, my old son, I have 'em flown in". Now I know he's taking the pi$$. Isn't he?

I've heard about grown men dying after 19 and 50 shots of tequila but I've seen people manage 20 shots and walk up a flight of stairs with little difficulty. So, how many tequila shots would you recommend to stop at? (lets say in a good 3hours)

OK, until Yahoo fixes the e-mail (I believe about a million people have asked about that, so I'm glad that the problem I'm having is not because of a fault in my set-up), who can tell me how many tots there are in a bottle of whisky? By the way, that doesn't mean I'm planning to polish off a whole bottle before they get the e-mail going again! It's something I've always wanted to know.

Not sure of the spelling but it's an old German breakfast pancake that's chopped up and cooked like a pancake. It's served in a bowl with sugar and milk.

It seems that a very good argument against eating meat can be made from a biblical stand point. The killing of animals and the eating of their flesh can be seen as a concession not an optimum spiritual mode of living. Before Adam and Eve supposedly sinned there was no death and only vegetable matter was listed as the foods they could eat. By this logic if you wanted to begin creating the Kingdom of God on earth you would begin by not killing anything, including animals.
