Probably it means Tablespoon, but I'd have to see the context before confirming that. A little t would be teaspoon.

The little t means teaspoons and the big T means tablespoons I am 11 i have been cooking since i was 1 I have met Paula Deen I have my own cooking company , i have filmed cooking shows , i am writing a cook book , i have taught cooking classes for 6--8 then i had one for 9and up! Also i noticed someone else said the same of mine we are both right ! Trust me i am semi-pro!

captial T, Tablespoon... small t or tsp teaspoon.. a tablespoon is 20 ml and a teaspoon is 5 ml... for metrics.. by the way, a great cookbook for anyone and everyone, seriously, (I'm a chef and I use it when I forget something easy and I use it for hard things i rarely make like bernaise and mornay sauces,) is "Cooking -- a common sense guide" a great cookbook... and I got it on sale for only $6 US at Borders Bookstore One of the best investments I ever made (that, and DiaShamOff years ago) hope this helped.... good luck, write to me sometime if ya wanna swap recipes or talk food. :-)

A capital T usually means Tablespoon and a lower case t would mean teaspoon...It can also be Tbs and tsp.
