Food & Drink - 28 June 2006

Here's what I've tried so far:
(using extra firm)
--frying cubes--so far my favorite, but I feel like I'm adding so much fat.
--baking
--squeezing for hours
--freezing first, then cubing
--scattering like ground beef (seems too much like scrambled eggs)

I've tried it in variuos dishes (stir-fries, wraps, fajitas, pasta dishes...)
Am I missing something? I am OK with the above, but I want more out of the tofu experience....help if you can.

I need a simple finger food recipe?

I'm living out of a college dorm room this summer so my access to a stove or oven is quite limited. Unfortunately people are already bringing veggie trays and cheese & crackers. Any other ideas?

Octopus biscuits?

I love animals, I've several pets and until very recently a python but we went our seperate ways. My question concerns my octopus, Crystal. She abosolutly loves digestive biscuits. She dips them in her water tank and woofs them down 8 at a time. She always gives me a big hug after polishing off a pack, covered from head to foot in welts somedays. Anyway I think she is getting board of them and I was wondering if its safe to give her Bourbon Creams or even a simpler custard cream. Will she suffer any adverse effects? Your views are sought
