Singles & Dating - 10 November 2007

When I seem more uncaring (for lack of better word), she's super caring and loving and funny and just absolutely charming to be with. Then when she's more uncaring, I feel unavoidably clingy cuz when I want to hang out with her or have her come over or I need to talk, she'll usually put that way down the list of her priorities.

The best situation seems to involve me being more uncaring. It feels the best and things go the smoothest and I'm actually happiest then... but I really don't like the sound of that.

Has anyone been through something similar and has a perspective or an idea how to sort through this? I'd really appreciated it.

I have mixed emotions on the subject. In my last relationship I loved and inadvertently lost. It was my first time being in love. The hurt was borderline unbearable and it's affecting my current relationship, a year later. I am less prone to act on emotion, and I am always putting on my armor - the result being a mundane, hum drum relationship. But on the flip side, I relish the memory of my past relationship, remembering it as the best time of my life. But was it worth never being able to get close to someone new?

So I propose the question, to see if anyone can come up with the answer or even a justifiable opinion. Is it best that I have loved and lost, or is it better to be naive in the ways of love? It's a question I often ponder.

I did just that. I asked a date to kiss me. She did, a nice long one at that. But now I question myself, would a woman rather just be kissed, or be asked and leave the option open to her?

I am a 21 yr old virgin. I am skinny and somewhat attractive. But I wanted to hold my virginity till marriage as part of my beliefs. Now I am getting nervous about the first time and wondering if I should get practice. I dont want to be like a clumsy mess and screw everything up when the time comes. I love someone and she doesnt talk but avoids me due to some reason.She avoids me because she knows that I like her.

She is not intrested in a relationship.
I got her number but dont know what to do because she gets annoyed when I call her.

It's funny because I support all of his wishes. Does he respect me? I had a guy that treated me so well but I relocated to Nc from Pa and before that I broke up with him because I had some insecurity issues back then. When I saw him on-line at BP I contacted him and we sent notes to each other until he gave me his number three days ago and will not answer my notes... I guess until I call him but I am not a cheat...Do you think he still has feelings for me or just does not mind talking to me? I would love to get back in touch with him now that I have mentally grown and I am ready for love...would I be wrong to assume he still loves me? So next friday is the day that my family is leaving for Greece for a week. Its killing me one the inside basically that i do not know if he likes me or not. I had my friend text message him but he never answered. Idk if he even got the text. Im thinking that if i tell him how i feel he will tell me if he likes me or not. There is this guy in the eighth grade and I'm in the seventh grade and we have so much in common. Our personalities. Etc.
