An interracial relationship is when people of different races begin dating. If you've ever watched old TV, you could see an example of this on "The Jeffersons". The upstairs neighbors, the Willises, were an interracial couple, Tom was white & Helen was black. Whether it is bad or not would have to be determined by your core beliefs. Obviously, Tom & Helen didn't think so, but the show often focused on how George thought it was, as he would call Tom a "honky" (a racial slur for whites), would make fun of Helen for mixing with "honkies", & referred to their children as "zebras", since they were mixed from black & white. The relationship also caused tension for the children, as the daughter looked black & the son looked white. One episode focused on how much harder the daughter felt she had it fitting into society, & how she was jealous of her brother since he seemed to have it easier. So, the show helps illustrate all viewpoints. Interracial couples may find many people accepting of their relationship, but will have to deal with other people from both their races who consider what they are doing an abomination. Also, the children will have to deal with unique difficulties they would not face being from a single ethnic background.

My advice would be if you wish to pursue a relationship like this, do so in an area that may be more tolerant of this behavior. Some regions tolerate interracial relationships more, & some even are more tolerant of mixing between certain races more than between others. My own area is a prime example of this. I'm part Indian, specifically Cherokee, & part white, mostly Irish. Many people in my region are of mixed Indian & white ancestry, so this is fairly well tolerated except by a minority of whites & Indians who consider each other to be trash. However, both groups tend to be far less accepting of members from either group mixing with blacks or especially Hispanics due to the illegal immigration problem. They are somewhat more accepting of people of Oriental ancestry, but even this is less accepted than Indian-white cohabitation. So, your best bet if you pursue this sort of relationship & want acceptance regardless of race is to move somewhere coastal in a liberal society, such as in San Francisco. There, you would be accecpted regardless of race, religion, or anatomy. About the only thing I've found they are prejudiced against out there are conservative values.

A interracial relationship is when two people of different races date each other...and no it is not bad, a relationship is just a relationship. Doesn't matter what both their races are...all that matters is that they love and care for each other. Tbh there is only one race..the human race

It is having a relationship someone who ethnic background is not the same as your own. It is not bad but some folks have a hard time accept them. It takes great responsibility when you are in one.

its basically a relationship betweeen twoindividuals from different races, and no its not bad at all, my boyfriend's chinese and im african, nd i think we get on pretty well, those that think its bad jus go on to show how ignorant nd f.....they really are!! ^^
