Singles & Dating - 10 November 2007

Hi,

I'm going out on dates and trying to see what's out there.. but as of now.. I got 9 women on my roster who said yes to go out with me that I intend to see over the next couple of weeks... 5 of whom I've gone out with already.. ... I feel that this is highly abnormal.. and I feel like I don't know what the rules of dating are.. I feel like I'm dating too many women...

I just feel really odd about this situation.. I'm trying to find a fulfilling relationship but I feel like I'm spraying bullets all over the place... I've met them in odd places too... a couple of them I met on the bus in my university.. another one on the train.. another one outside a starbucks.. one in another university.. and one at a hospital... I haven't committed to anyone.. but I'm playing the field to put it mildly

Is this healthy dating behavior? Should I quit? Is this what "playing the field" is? Whats the protocol to finding a happy loving relationship.. this mass-dating strategy?!

i like this boy and im 100% percent sure he likes me too, but im looking for your opinion as well. Ok well im a freshman in hs and this boy i like always stares at me he asked me for my #, he told me i was pretty, he always texts me back, he called me babe in a text message, and he also asked me how my day was? which i heard means he really cares? he also get kind of jealous when i am around other guys cuz my guy friend tickled me and then he did it too. also at the end of class he comes and sits on top of my desk. he touches my arm a lot too. he also said my name in a really cute way todayy. and he put his hands in the front pocket of my sweatshirt once and he made me put his cell fone in my short pockets. lol yeahh weird but, does he like me? (your opinon!)

I have always said that I would never date someone that had kids, or did drugs, or smoked. Then 5 years ago I met someone through a friend. She told me he was a nice guy and that he had a daughter and son but I told her that I wasnt interested because its trouble. She made me feel guilty because she said I was too picky and that I was never going to meet anyone. Now it's 5 years later and I still can't get over the fact that his two babies mamas drop off the kids every weekend. I don't want any woman and I have never gotten attached to his kids. He is a heroin addict (even though he denies it) and he smokes two packs a day. I have kicked him out of my home 5 times and I always take him back because I don't want to be alone and he is the only person that I feel cares about me. He has stolen money from me and my 14 year old son doesn't like him. I have no friends (since I met him) and my family sucks, so I'm all alone. I cant function alone.

We had this professor give us a talk about different types of women & came to the conclusion that skinny/slim girls have a more successful life then any other, slim girls tend to be successful in careers, relationships etc because they are more secure, more confident, more open minded then curvy bigger girls, slim girls arent insecure about their looks/body so therefore dont have many problems in life whereas curvy women seem to be jelous more, get upset easily & are insecure, recent poll here in the UK & Eurpope suggested 98% of men prefer girls NOT bigger then them, as in prefer girls who are slim tall attractive, suppose thats human nature, guys would never want a girl bigger then they are no matter what, love is part of pshycal attraction so love is not an excuse, the Professor didnt say every single slim girl but comparing as majority, suppose this is already know anyway, even in the working industry employers prefer slim attractive women because they look good & attract.
