Singles & Dating - 13 June 2007

At my school it seems like EVERYONE is in a relationship except me. I am not really interested in having a bf right now because I am shy and I don't feel ready although I do have a lot of crushes. I am 15 by the way. I don't even think that I will get a bf in high school because I am shy and I would rather not take too much time away from my family and friends. Will people make fun of me and will I never get a bf because I am inexperienced? Did anyone start dating AFTER high school?? Thanx for the advice!!!

Everybody tells me our society expects its members to get married . If that's the case, why have I been allowed to be single for forty -- five years ? Why has NOBODY said "Mike's being wasted on the single life !" . I hate being single .

I really care for this guy and I know you should wait till you love someone to give up something so important like your virginty but I want to know will it hurt? I have been self concious lately that i'm not tight...i havent had sex in a while...but the last person i slept with was small and i have to say, it wasnt that easy to feel...maybe i have stretched out though? My boyfriend and I had been dating almost a year. Some small problems, but we talked and decided to work on them.Then a few days ago, he just broke up with me. It was pretty out of the blue, and he just said that there is something he needed to do and can't while we're together. He's had a history of smoking weed, but it seems so long ago, I hadn't even remembered all the trouble from it. I just don't know how to take this; is he going to start smoking again, or get together with someone to see if he even cares about me? He then told me later that it would take 3 weeks to a month for him to do this thing that he won't tell me. Am I expected to just wait around for him after all this? In three weeks am I just supposed to forget it all went on? I just wish I knew what he "needs to do alone" and what I should do once he's done it. I can't think of any reasons that I could understand it. Has anyone gone through this? I miss him, but I don't know if all this should be easily forgiven.

I am seeing a lot of post's where people are saying they have sex with their boyfriend or girlfriend, what makes that ok? honestly if you are gonna get married with that person, why have pre-marital sex? he(she) can still leave you, and then what? you have a baby and he(she) is having a normal life, and how would you feel getting a girl pregnant but not loving her so you leave her? how would you validate your excuses for leaving a child without a father? I just don't think thats ok because you're saying your commitment for that person goes only as far as the bed.

so, this guy isn't interested in me after all. i never really thought he was that good looking, i got bad vibes from him and i never considered getting serious with him. we didn't hang out much, but WHY THE HELL am i still hurt that he doesn't like me? my mind says "who cares" while my heart is hurting. i just don't get how he couldn't like me. not to toot my own horn or anything, but i am a GREAT girl...so toot toot!

So this girl and I have been friends going on four or five years now. She has a fiance who I don't know so well, but her and I get along really well. About two months ago, I realized that I was in love with her and resolved, after much stomach-churning, to let her know. She didn't seem off-put, but of course, she's taken.

So yeah, I guess my questions are as follows:

- I feel morally wrong about my love for her. Being in love with someone who is taken, it makes me feel like a homewrecker or something. Is this normal?

- Is it wrong to kinda root for them to break up? It makes me feel like a terrible friend, heh.

- Should I continue to pursue my feelings for her or try my hardest to just stay friends, as painful as that is?

Okay so i was inlove with this one dude n then i stopped likin him....esrased his number from my phone book, n everything.....feelings came back n i wanted to have a friend call him for me but she couldn at the time......so after i talked to him for myself! after that i didnt like him but now one of my friends likes him n i dont care but she thinks i do......n she doesnt believe me that i dont have his number!Plus me n her have had some trouble in the past!
