But BE CAREFUL... A lot of people in my city have been victims of Myspace frauds. They were raped, robbed, or even killed.

ive dated a few girls from myspace. its all in the person. be sure you talk to them outside of myspace messages. and if ya decide to meet do it in a neutral place that is public that way theres no real chance of anythign sketchy happening. it can lead to a good relationship but its up to you after you meet to make that end of it work.
funny myspace comments will only get ya so far, know what im saying!!!!
be yourself and hopefully you didnt exaggerate your appearance or personality too much on your page. some people are keyboard tough guys and say and act a different way ebhind a screen, when in fact if ya meet them in public they are totally different.

I dont think its loserish as you put it, its a nice,easy way introducing the topic with feeling awkard or uncomfortable. But I then would confirm the decision, whether its yes or no, in person so that you bring the reality back into it. Most people would not take that seriously so I would do a check afterwards in person..

No. Part of having Myspace is keeping track of how many people want to date you via your page. So, I'm sure she will be happy to get the request. Say something funny, and convince her you are popular and good-looking without exaggerating too much.

why would it make you a loser? people meet over the internet every day! romance blossoms all the time.
i think it's all a matter of how you approach it though. you're likely to get a much better result if you ask her to go for coffee or something casual to see if you hit it off first.
