Singles & Dating - 8 April 2007

I'm afraid to go out and date men. It takes me repeated exposure to people to begin to feel comfortable with them. It's a problem for me because I'm not a child anymore. That's why I always fall for guys at work, cuz I see them every day.

When I've gone out with guys I didn't know before the date, they've often grabbed me or kissed me and I didn't even see it coming and I don't like that.

How do I explain to someone I don't even know well, on the first date, that I don't want them to touch me or kiss me yet? Will any guy want to date a girl who isn't willing to fool around on the first date (and, guys, I'm 36, not a child, and this stuff happens.) I feel like I need to say something beforehand because it really freaks me out when they touch or kiss me unexpectedly... How do I handle this with the guy?

i like this guy, and i just figuered out recently that he like me. im in middle school and im really shy when it comes to actually telling guys how you feel about them. im not shy if we arent talking about that i could talk to him all day. but the bad thing is he is more shy than me. before he could barely even talk to me but now he is flirty and starts the conversations. he pokes me and throws things at me like paper and ect. well i know he is to shy to ask me out because he doesnt know i like him or i hope not any way. i was wondering how to show him or something to tell him how i feel about him because i think he is amzing. he is cute,sweet,nice hair,shy,did i mention cute.everything i want. i know im young and it may sound stupid but i really need help

Accept a girl that doesn't have the most beautiful body in the world?? I know that guys are different, but I really would like to know if there are some guys out there who would accept a girl that has cellulite, scars on the breasts (due to a breast reduction surgery) and some skin problem called "hyperpigmentation".....My skin is so freakin sensitive....

I am in love with my best friend's boyfriend. And he told me that he loved me too. And then he told me that him and my best friend is so over. So, we have been seeing each other in secret. But then my friend found out that I have been seeing him. So she wasn't my friend anymore. Sooner or later, I find out that he is seeing this other girl. But I love him. I have this problem. I am shy and I am very picky about who I want to choose to go out with. I fully don't understand this whole "going out" thing anyway. I went out with this person three years ago and never thought about dating ever again. Now, three years later, I feel guilty about being single. I am almost 15 and have never had a boyfriend before or been kissed. I don't really feel ready to start dating yet because I am kinda shy. I am really into boys though. I do have a few crushes at school and on some famous guys too. But, it seems like I don't feel comfortable talking about boys to my parents. It seems like I am so different from my brother. Whenever my brother sees a girl on tv he always says "Wow, she is hot." But, whenever I see a hot guy on tv, I keep it to myself. The only people I talk about guys to are my friends. So, my parents think that I am not interested in guys, which I am. I just don't want my parents to think that I am a lesbian or something when I am NOT! My brother is only 10 and he will share his feelings about girls aloud but I don't feel comfortable sharing my feelings about guys out loud to my parents. Is there something wrong with me? Okay so here's the situation. My bf and I dated for a little over a year. He was living with me. Well things weren't working out so I asked him to move out. We started dating again after a couple weeks. It's nice but I don't know if this is what I really want.
I love him, but at the same time I find myself wondering if there is something better out there. I am not a hot size 5 and I have 3 kids. It's very hard to find a good man who excepts my kids and me just like we are. Is that enough to keep this relationship going? How do I know if I should wait and hope better comes around? I do love him, but there are certain things that we don't have incommon that are big things in a relaitonship. Like goals, and he spends all his time on his computer instead of spending time with me- am I reading too much into this? Please help~

Talk about masturbating when there are girls around.

This guy at work said when i go home i'm gonna eat cheesies and watch porn. He's always going on crazy like that, usually not in a sexual way though. But he was looking at me the whole time. We were sitting and he was facing right at me.

With him i really don't think it would be just sex and nothing more....he's not that type of person.

BTW...he has been flirting with me. He always seems to say things to get my attention.

Okay here is the situation. I am not the type of woman who sleeps around but I found myself with this dilema anyway. I already have a beautiful 2yr old daughter and her father and I get along pretty well. I moved away to Arizona after we were evicted from our home. I ended up meeting this guy and things really moved fast with him before I knew it we were living together. I soon found out that he was abusive and moved back to stay with my mother. Me and my daughters father started seeing each other again almost immed. but then he informed me that we could not pick up where we left off. Now I am pregnant and I dont know who the father is. Since then I have moved back to Arizona and he (abusive man) knows that I am pregnant and believes the baby is his but I DON'T know? I dont know what to do!

My GF's stepdad told me her past!?
Ive dated my GF for about 4 years its always been a long distance relationship, but some how we managed to fall in love. In the past 4.5 months we've been having problems. she is currently in WA im in CA. So ive been talking to her stepdad since he is a councelor and yesterday he told me about her past something she's never told me. ( it hurt me so much ). He told me that she was married before and divorced. (WHAT, how, why, ??) It was her stupid moms fault. Married at 15 common...she was married for about 3 months... how do i deal with this. I love her i told her im behind her 100% and that i dont love her any less. but since we've been having problems she wants to take time off. I really dont know what to do. I dont want to loose her. but she wont lisent to me. AAAHHHHHh her past has done mental damage to her and her family.... i dont know what to do. she wont speak with me.
