Singles & Dating - 27 March 2007

Okay so there is a guy at my school and he is a cowboy and he is or should i say was, a really nice guy. He had found out that i liked him and i had wrote him notes in the past jus to throw a couple of hints! And he looks at me in the hallway all the time its weird! But anyway so my Bestfriend askd him if he liked me and he told her probably not... (question: Does that mean he is not for sure that he likes me or what?) But now he gives me weird looks in the hallway sometimes there good looks and sometimes their bad looks so i jus throw them right back at him! QUESTION: Am I being to harsh or mean or even maybe blowing this out of proportion..? Do I still try and get him or leave him alone? And he still kinda watchs me sometimes... WHAT DO I DO!???!!

When I was gone over the weekend my boyfriend chatted with a women who invited him for drinks. He agreed, then decided not to go, He emailed her and said can't go that I was coming home, let's go another time.(mind you I was not coming home for yet another day) He did not tell me about this situation. While going on to our computer to check my email. Her response to his decline email, was up on the screen. I found this and got very angry and felt he was hiding something or cheating on me. He says he is not that if he was he would have gone for drinks with her. I need an outsiders opinoin on whether or not he is being truthful or just lying!?!
TOTALLY CONFUSED!

I personally don't know any couples who are swingers (or any singles either)

But if you do, how stable is their relationship.

Even if you dont know a couple, what do you think about it. Bad idea?? They can't really be in love if they want other people?? or its just something they like to do, no biggie?

How old is too old for a teenage girl to date? For example, do you think a 20 year old is too old for a 16 year old?
I know a very mature 16 year old, who is not interested in sex or anything like that, and a 20 year old wants to date her. She acts like an adult, and is very responsible. Do you think the 20 year old is too old for her, and why? If not how old is too old?

my boyfriend is really great, but its sort of awkward between us.
its almost been 2 weeks and i dont think i like him anymore. i'm trying to wait it out since we havent had any alone time (and we havent kissed yet either) but right now its a little tiny spark and then the rest is back to being friends. but when we were just friends, there was a spark. how can i change it?

my ex-gf of 3 years broke it off with me a little over a month ago for another guy. I stopped all communication from her. a week ago she sent me 2 txt msgs 1. saying hi 2. saying i wish i could talk to you once atleast.

I didn't respond at all. A couple days ago at the bars she confronted a lady friend of mine and said to her since i am not talking to her if she could ask me if their is anything i wanted back from her like a tiffanys necklace i bought her, and asked about me etc...

I accepted the breakup, and now she is kind enough to return a $600 necklace? The way she broke up with me was horrible, and she made no attempt to let me down easy.

What is going on here?...

The same period that I broke up with him is the same period that he decided to go out with another girl (this was yesterday). He still wants to spend time with me, avoids his new girlfriend, yada, yada. But him skipping onto the next girlfriend really did not make me want to get back with him (I was going to resolve the whole "breakup" situation the next day)... it actually lowered my whole perspective of him. It actually made me think... much less of him... and I now have NO intentions of ever dating him again.

So why do guys assume that their ex will run back to them if they skip on to a hoochie?

Ok so I like this guy and he likes me, except Im white and hes black. Of course we dont care but everyone around us seems to look at us wierd and its affecting us in some level. Whats wrong with this because i dont get it at all. Has anyone ever had an ex or someone else go out of their way to make your life hell? Doing things like.. ruining your friendships, making threats, sitting outside your house revving their engine, making false complaints to the police, spreading nasty rumours and writing nasty things about you where people can see it?

A girl told me something about my ex which I spoke to him about and he told me it was true so when she finally got the guts to tell the police I had to give a statement. The case was dropped due to lack of evidence but from then on the guy promised he would do everything he could to make my life hell because I supported the victim and not him. He seems to be good at this. The police have not been able to do anything and it often seems like they believe him over me.

Has anyone been in a similar situation?
Maybe your ex just wouldnt let go and wanted their own back because you finished with them?
How did you cope?

I met my now ex girlfriend/fiancee about a year ago and things were going great for ages (you know, met my family etc, got engaged, had everything going for us) I've always known she wanted to get back in touch with old mates she had lost contact with and I was cool with that. About a year down the line we got engaged, a month later she said she didnt want to be with me and thought it would be best to spend some time apart. She lives with her parents and I lived in my own property. I would have done anything for her and she hasnt really given me a legitamate reason for leaving other than "it didnt feel right" (please bear in mind that she suggested getting married in the first place and was really excited and started planning etc.) how could her mind have changed so quickly? was she cheating??
