I understand that you shouldn't have sex when you're in high school (I haven't) but what about when you start college (or university)? Do you think it's a bad idea? What do you think? (Rude comments will be ignored.)

That's definitely a matter of your own opinion.

If you're orthodox and want to follow your religion, you should wait til marriage, even if it's after college.

If you're not strictly following your religion, thten there's no set 'rules.' I know many people who have sex in high school, and they aren't shunned or looked down upon.

On the other hand, if you don't want to have sex, don't feel comfortable, or haven't found the right man to lose your virginity to, then you should keep waiting. Don't feel pressured to have sex: people don't care whether you want to or not and they will respect you and think of you the same whether you decide to or not.

Bottom line is, just do whatever you want to. Don't feel restricted not to or pressured to.

Hope I helped!

When you choose to have sex is a completely personal decision that no one can make for you. I can say that I chose to lose my virginity when I was 17, just a few months before I graduated from high school. I had sexual relationships through college and beyond. But I felt ready for those encounters and have not had any regrets. If you feel you are ready, and have factored in STDs and possible pregnancy, and you are confident you can handle any repercussions that having sex might cause, then go for it. Just make sure you are doing what you want to do and not what you feel pressured into doing.

At some point your grown up and decide for your self. The reasons change as you get older and there are less reasons too.

As a young girl you notice that no one had long term relationships and it is possible and likely that you will harm yourself psychologically by forming world views that are not representative of society and relationships. The other reasons for the taboos are sexually transmitted disease, you may be concerned about desensitization and subsequently not having as fulfilling a relationship, cultural considerations such as being spanked by society and getting pregnant and facing decisions too early.

You will notice that all these issues are tangible and not related to magic so you are able to make decisions for your self as you get older. If I were you I would reserve the decision, that is not make it and let it float. If you are engaged and you get pregnant I suppose the outcome is probably pretty good.

The only reason you shouldn't have sex in high school is that your parents don't want you to and if something like a pregnancy happened, a highschooler isn't mature enough to raise a child. In college.. theres really nothing wrong with it. Just be careful and don't over-do it.

I would probably say that you should steer away from the bad side of college and just focus on school. Remember, you are paying to go to that school. WHy not make the most of it? then go and fool around later when you are out of college and when you have a decent job that can help pay for your living expenses.

It's not bad but I wouldn't your still young. Wait till you graduate. And married becuse there's something you need to know. Your first time is the time you'll never forget. Make your first time with the real special someone. Not the boyfriend for almost a year and about to break up with but the one youo trully love and care about. And this it's more easily to know who your special someone is when you've graduated . I think you should wait till your married.

Well it's really ones choice. I personally think people should wait until marriage but it's up to you. Just make sure that your in a committed relationship and you and the other person love each other and your really sure your ready. If you do decide to do it use your common sense and use protection. Just some advice for you.

ever see those girls gone wild videos
well 99% of them are college girls
who usually have tons of sex once in college
with remote strangers they never intend to marry much less date
hence why at spring break that's all the girls do
drink
get drunk
have sex
college for some ( hec for many ) is a very liberal time in life for women who feel there are no limits and no ones is really watching you over your shoulder to see what you are doing, so as far as anyone in your family is concerned all you are doing is being studious, but any guy will tell you otherwise

Start slow, experience the explorations. Could indulge in abstinence and/or random play. Respect the mutual opinons and no need for hostility/insecurities

of course don't get pressured by the social influences and potential doings. stay strong and don't miss the chances
