Why are guys sooo disrespectful to ladies nowadays, what has happened over the years?

sometimes , this disrespectful is a reflection of what ladies do , but guys nowadays are not polite enough , and that because what they are usually seeing in the streets, watching at the TV and the cinema , all these lead to this bad behavior . also they are away of religious , so we hope that tomorrow will be better than today .

I tell you all over and over--men used to be very respectful, when women acted respectable, but women's lib came about and started a hugh war --telling women they are 'oppressed,' etc. This was only ugly dyke types-who hated men anyway, well it took over America not the world, I have lived in other countries. Men used to pay for all dates, hold doors open even, tip their hat to you, [or ball cap].
t.v. has lot to do with it--always showing [white middle class] men as weak and needy or stupid, but those men were and are the backbone of our society, so after this big 'liberation'--we have 13 y.o. girls getting abortions, or turning to other girls for sex, girls afraid to walk the streets, [see the left wing doesn't want death penalty for rapist or murderers]. It has to begin with each girl having self respect, do not ask guys out, go not have sex with a man unless he's your husband, do not give yourself away as free as yesterday's newspaper. So what be alone for awhile--have integrity and you will meet the right kind of man, don't be so desperate. AND GET RID OF THE 'ATTITUDE' -IT IS UGLY--you are not a queen. Do some women tell their daughters to have attitude? ---if so where are all the respectable men taking these girls w/attitude, out? how about husbands?? where are all the fathers, if the mother had her own life so 'together'?? from what I observed the girls --w/ atttitude ---only have their female friends and lots of fatherless babies. Get smart! young girls --i have this advice for you--if your mother has no [working] man , no [decent] husband, no father for you, and only her sisters and females around- or a man she is supporting so she gets sex, do not ever take her advice about men, period.

Girls are getting worse than guy's when it comes to getting around so we lose respect for them. As bad as some men can be we want are woman to be good and lady like

Most ladies stopped being ladies and are very sexually aggressive, demanding, wear skimpy clothes, get drunk, hook up with other girls to be cute, use drugs, have sex without commitment, and lack not only morals but self-esteem. As the saying goes:
"Gentlemen stop being gentlemen when ladies stop being ladies."

Because the ladies say they just want love and hugs and loyalty, but they really want to be treated like a queen and have money and gifts lavished upon them.

well maybe youre just attracted to the wrong type of guy
personally im a gentlemen and ive been told that we are a dying breed.....it has to do with pop culture i think....it tells guys how theyre "supposed" to act not how they should....my advice find someone not easily influenced by that kinda stuff

There are very few of us that are respectfull but we are here unfortunately every person expects perfection. Like respect and great appearence and well those two can never co-exist.

I DONT KNOW!! i think the guys that are really disrepectful, trully have a one track mind. they are only thinking of themselves. and usually,if thats how they present themselves in the beginning, then thats how they will always be! but! then there are the ones that pretend that they are nice and sweet but thet show themselves later on! just be patient and try to work on finding Mr. right!
