What can I do to at least get a hint? I really don't want to just ask... I am just NOT that bold of a person. I am naturally shy... but I don't want to be shy any more, either...

Tell him to look up, then down, then away from you and tell him to pause
When he says what is happening, tell him that u just wanted to see if he liked u, then when he turns around kiss him....

just start some kind of conversation. if he continues it with intrest or you feel something "click" then he likes you to some degree. if he shows no interest then he most likely has other things on his mind
