59 yr old divorced male who needs some help understanding signs. On a week trip with a mixed group in same age range, talked with many ladies. Two rubbed my shoulder or upper arm while talking, what does this mean? Do they want to continue getting better acquainted or is it just a friendly response?

welll my boyfriend that i love dearly, is thinking about buying me a promise ring. he is 18 and i 17. but the only problem is i know my dad will flip out. he is thinking about asking my dad about it. but we love each other dearly and i dunno if im to young for this or what everyone thinks.. help please!

Have you ever dated anyone who had great personal qualities but was overweight? What did you think? I am one of these women and I don't have problems attracting smart, good looking men. Usually I am the one breaking up because I am very picky about personal qualities--especially good character. I haven't always been overweight and am losing weight now for health reasons. I am actually surprised that so many men are attracted to me because being overweight is considered to be a social stigma by many people. Please give me your opinion of dating an overweight woman? If you have dated an overweight woman, did the extra weight bother you?

I work my *** off. I go to school (Dean's List) I work full time, and I rasie me and fiances' daughter. He never compliments me or EVER does anything nice for me!! I feel SOOOO under appreciated. He always puts me down and makes me feel bad. He always says that I am selfish, and I never do anything for myself, I always do stuff for them. On mother's day of LAST year, that is the last present I got from him and they were flowers that on the card it said, to the only one that will put up with me. What can I do make this guy realized what a good thing he has, before I blow up and freak out on him!!

I've liked this guy since i was 13 and i'm 17 now. we've been good friends since i was 2! a few years back i told him i liked him and then he asked if i would ever date him. i said no because i dont want to lose u as a friend. (I was 13 and he was 16). about 2 years later we didnt talk much for almost a year. Now that i'm older i still have feelings for him like we spent seven hours one night hanging out and he kept say i've changed ina good way, he missed me and that me and him are like the same person. we have both been through alot. hes so protective over me its funny cuz i talk about going to collage and he always says hes going with me. but since the last time we hung out i havent seen him much and he never calls. he always asks my friends how i am yet it seems he doesnt make an attempt to see me. i can never find him and he knows where to find me! but my question is one night he said he wants the girl to chase him, but i'm afraid that i may tackle him! MY boyfriend and I broke up like a month ago we're still really close friends the only reason we broke up was because of my mom. He started dating someone else last week and I am ok with it for the most part the reason I say that is because we talk on the phone every night and he tells me he feels wierd if he doesn't talk to me before he goes to sleep and he still tells me he loves me and I say it back to him what do I do? Heres what I know:**I have a very hard time letting people get close to me. I tend to put up a wall once people get to a certain "closeness" and start to push them away.***I love my exboyfriend but every time we get to a certain point, I shut down and push him away. (He and may other people have told me I do this)*** When Im not with him, I miss him so much and want him back in my life. Ive been talking to a fella online chit chatting back and forth for somewhere around 6 months. he djs for an online radio station and Ive listened to his show, sent in requests, and basically just joked back and forth with each other. well, in the past month we've been chatting more and more, and now it seems that we've fallen in love! Here is the problem. He lives 4000 miles away, and he is considerably older than me, 17 years to be exact. we've exchanged phone numbers, and he actually uses it! (the phone I mean) lol. by the way...Im completely of legal age, Im 27. can it work? I mean, as far as I can tell, his feelings are genuine, meaning he calls often...several times a day...sometimes just to say he loves me =). Am I wrong? Am I the one who is making the mistake of losing someone over something dumb?
Am I wrong for feeling this way?
My boyfriend smoked pot when I met him. I also smoked awhile ago when I met him(about 3 years ago). I only smoked for about 3 months and then quit completely. It has been 3 years of me and my bf being together and I can't stand him smoking anymore. When I smoked I use to do it for fun. He says he smokes so he is calm and can just chill. He does smoke like 3 times a day. but only alittle at a time just to calm him down. I just feel like he should not have to smoke when I hang out with him. I try to make him feel comfortable and just feel like I don't make him feel good enough and he needs a drug. When I went over his house last night, after a hour of me being there he asked me to drive him to get some weed. I was only staying for 3 hours. We fought about it, He said he just wanted to be relaxed while I was there....wtf, he was not smoking when he was alone.. I came there to make him feel better. we only chill like twice a week.

We ended up breaking up. Am I wrong for flipping out over him smoking? I just can't take the smell..him acting high and stupid...What if we had kids and they saw him smoking.. I don't know..

Why does it seem like it is just a problem to everyone else besides me and my boyfriend, that we are in love. we are young we are still in high school but we love each other and we are planning to be together for a long time. People make such a big deal that we like each other so much, it's not like we are having sex cause we are not.I am tired of all these people trying to break us up and not liking that we are together. I am a giving person. When I care about someone, I give my all. I cared for him and I thought he cared for me. I realize now I was just entertainment for him. The sex was real good for him but soon after a year...i got tired of it but still kept doing it. I left town to get over him and when I returned I never told him I was here. Eventually, I told him. He still asks me am I ok. It seems he cares but then he does things and says things to hurt me. Did he really expect me to want to still sleep with him now? After being broke down through a marriage and dealing with him, I have just had about enough. I refuse to take his calls and I made a choice to let it go COMPLETELY. Even the desire is gone. My ex and I dated for couple of months in the past. We had so much in common, enjoyed what we did together, but he was too passionate to me, and I got tired after 2 months. We haven't slept together.
I knew he was still in love with me, and we were still good friends, now for 2 years.
Now, I'm 27 and he's 37. I've quite settled down, and want to get married and start a familly. This ex has been supporting me for everything, and although we are in distance (UK and US) we started a long distance again, and he was crying with happiness. He said he never stopped loving, caring for me, and I know that for sure.
Now, would it be acceptable for me, as a girl, to say to him that I'm quite ready to settle down, and start a familly? We have known each other for more than 2 years, but started dating again last month as a long distance. He says to come to US, but if I agree, I want to be engaged.
Could I ask for an advice how I can mention? Mail would be fine?

This girl i'm friends with texted me to see how my vacation was going a couple of days ago, and I replied back saying that it was awesome, and that we should hang out when I get back, and she replied yeah we should. Then I texted her this morning to let her know that I was coming back tonight and was wondering if she wanted to hang out tommorrow. But she hasn't replied back yet, and sometimes she waits until the next day to reply back. She can't be busy all day, so why does she wait until the next day to reply back? Sometimes she dosen't reply back at all? I think she likes me as a friend, but I don't know. I have known her for a couple of months and we have had fun when we do hang out, Should I just continue to play hard to get and maybe she will call me again?

I got shot a few years ago which left a long scar on my stomach. My new girlfriend saw a picture of me this morning while going thru my cellphone. She didn't mention it but I saw her expression. it was a blank one. I ask her was she ok with it and if we were still good. she said yes. what do u think? should I call it quit and let her go her own way or should I try to do something?
