Heres what I know:**I have a very hard time letting people get close to me. I tend to put up a wall once people get to a certain "closeness" and start to push them away.***I love my exboyfriend but every time we get to a certain point, I shut down and push him away. (He and may other people have told me I do this)*** When Im not with him, I miss him so much and want him back in my life. We are happy together until I get nervous and shut down***I just need some advice from people who have had this fear and how to deal with it.

Have you been hurt before? Or perhaps, did you see someone close to you (like your parents or siblings) hurt while in a close relationship?
You're acting defensively (get them before they get me type of behavior) and until you realize the reason why, it won't get any better.
Sit down and really think about it. You may reach some surprising answers.

...my first question for you would be,..."do you suffer from any past present or futuristic anxiety issues here hun? Any bad past youthful experiences or conflicted feelings running around within yourself mentally,...you know...the ones that keep you unsettled or disturbed or awake at night too reasonably? Depression and anxiety issues come to my mind anyways sweetie. Check in to seeing a therapist for a few sessions of some self discovery darling. This is the stuff that might possibly be holding you back from having a wonderfully comfortable and non-conflicted lifestyle otherwise. Admit to yourself a few things babe...and then go check out your local therapy clinic hun...you can thank me later otherwise...OK?

Hi

Its obvious you lack God in your love life. I'm married after struggling with my wife that did the same thing. I just thank God every day for helping me pull through and making it and the end. First you need to invite God in your heart, then you can take on anything life throws at you. Remember one thing though, that believing in God can take you so much further than what your boyfriend can and that God only whants what's best for us. Remember we are His children and that He won't put things in your way He feels you can't handle.

God Bless

you can continue your relationship without getting sexual. i still
believe in platonic relationship. "getting to know" is a process
which takes sometime. enjoy each other's company without
committing on anything. take your time
