What does/did it take to get you to be more sociable around and less shy with the guy you like(d)?

i really like this guy. he and i hav been friends since like september.he really trusts me. i kno this bc he even told me his real name. he also told me that only 3 ppl kno his real name and i was one of them. i used to think he liked me bc he was always touching me. as in a friendly way. my friend told me that i had to make the first move. my friends tell me that he likes me. i dont believe them bc i think im too ugly for him. but the good thing is that he doesnt like blondes. and im a brunette. hes going out with this girl that i really hate. what should i do??!?!?! PLZ HELP! today i found out he has a girlfriend and now im all depressed. he still hasnt noticed me (as more than a friend) but he noticed that i wouldnt talk to him and that i was happier in the morning. i didnt talk to anyone at all. i was so depressed. he still talks to me. sorta. i really want him to break up with her but i dk if i should flirt w/ him and keep on likin him or if i should just get over him. PLZ HELP!!!!!

i call my girlfriend eevery single day and i talk to her for a little while about random tuff but after that there r these silent pauses over the phone where we hear nothing but ourselves breathing.I starting to thik that i'm boring her. My ex and I were together for a year and recently broke up. We've broken up twice before for the same reason, he says he needs time to get his life together and he's going through a lot. I tried to be understanding the other breakups but this time I had enough and told him off. I've removed all ties with him and we haven' t talked in three weeks. Anyways, I'm moving into a new apartment and as I was packing I came across a lot of his things. In my attempts to be nice, I texted him and asked him if he wanted any of his belongings. He immediately started telling me how much he missed me and thought about me everyday. I tried to keep the convo short and sweet, but he kept asking me questions to keep the convo going. My question is...does he really miss me and if so why did he wait for me to contact him before he told me?

I've been dating this girl now 4 2 months and she is a student and struggling so i've done alot 4 her,everything u could think of i've done for her Like when she said she needed new clothes for a job interview i took her shopping.But when i ask for something she ca'nt do it,she tells me she loves me but does'nt prove it,there;s alot of words but no action.She does'nt call unless she needs something,she tells me that she's really depressed right now,but why should i suffer i want to be there to help her but she won't let me in.I'm at my breaking point i feel that if u do for sum1 that they should give in return but she does'nt..Should i lose her?

How to get a Bf? I am sociable, nice, great personality, pretty (not conceited). the reason why i asked this question a second time is because the first time i wasn't clear about myself...i am nice, nicer than these other girls...not snobby like some people would say about me...i hang out wit guys sometimes and hear what they say on what kind of girl they like (a girl who's nice, knows how to defend herself, pretty, and great personality) im have all those qualties and i dont' have a bf anymore....i lost my touch...a year ago i had a lot of options now i don't...i don't kno whats wrong wit me..

Heres my situation, I've been dating a girl for two years on and off, after that, we broke up and hardly talked. A few days later she got a new boyfriend who she says she feels as strong as she does with him as she did with me for those 2 years. I don't really feel like standing on the side lines watching her with another guy, I have a very short temper and might just go after her new boyfriend. To make sure I don't interfear or hurt someone (Or vise versa) I faked my own death. Am I just being selfish, or is it better then trying to break them up?

I was at this club the other day, and it was really crowded, and I accidentally bumped into this girl. She turned around and kneed me really hard in the balls, almost as a reflex. After that, I eventually got up, and I kept my eye on her.

When she was leaving, I followed her out, and I tapped her on the shoulder. When she turned around, I said "Hey lady, I bumped into you by accident. Why'd you have to knee me in the balls?"

I was expecting an apology, but instead, she just said "grow up, you loser." Then, without any hesitation, she swung her foot up and kicked me right in the balls again. I was lying on the street for I don't know how long, and I could hear her and her friends laughing at me as they walked off.

I don't think I deserved that. Do a lot of women go around just kneeing guys like that? What can I do to avoid that in the future, if anything? A friend told me it's just a hazard of being a guy at a club, but I hope that's not true.

My boyfriend and i have nearly been together for 2 years (on april 16th) and in June i am leaving to go overseas for 6 months while he stays home....what should we do? should we have a long distance relationship? should we go on a break? should we break up? I think that we will "give each other freedom" like he will b 18 in may n can go clubbing n stuff and will meet girls and i dont want him to be restricted by me while i am not here for 6 months and i also dont wanna be restricted. i donno its just so hard!!! help!!

Ok my ex and I who have been off and on for two years going on three, saw each other and decided we were going to be friends before he left to study outside of the country. Then while he was over there I admitted I was in love with him (long time right?, thats another long story). Even though he hasnt out right told me he loves me, hes been calling and writing me, and has been asking me to come visit him. He had asked me a couple of times before he left, but I wasnt sure then. Even though i want to, Im feeling a little apprehensive and scared. I know I need to seriously talk to him about his feelings, what hes thinking etc, but I just wanted opinions on what you would do in my situation.

We have been friends or whole lives, more as a connection to family. our families had dinner and we had a great talkfor an hour and at first she seemed a little nervous around me(looking at the floor, twiddling, ect.)but, after a while we both calmed down. We didn't hang out for a while until just a few months ago when there was a party at my house and she came. We talked again for two hours, she seemed like she had a good time. I invited her to a party one of my buddies was having, I was one of two people she knew there. I saw the fact that she showed up and stayed until 2am as some sort of sign. I then asked her to this formal dance dinner event as friends,she seemed to be interested again. Then about a week later i tried to meet up with her on the following weekends but she was busy with legit excuses that i could verify. Then i asked her to the movie for friday, she had plans that were legit again, i asked for saturday, she said no again but also said she was not makin excuses. ???

Almost two years ago I became involved with a friend that I have had since we were lil' kids, we are in our twenties now. Stuff happened, not so good stuff, we didn't speak regularly for about a year and have been speakin' regularly for the last month and a half or so after his apologizing. Last weekend, when huggin' me good bye, he picked me up to hug me, and kissed the side of my face. In all of our years of being friends we never kissed each other good bye until we had been involved. I am guessin yes but do ya'll think he is still interested?

i've made the mistake of letting my ex (long distance, met in college) back into my life. things were good for a while, then the same crap is back again. he expects me to make all the effort to see him yet he doesn't feel like he should because of his "unemployment" situation. he says he's broke and focused on his job search, yet he goes to the casino and golfing with his buddies. i'm fed up with him. i feel sorry for him so i feel like i can't cut him off completely, yet i'm sick of being stepped all over. what should i do?

I think what happens is you eliminate your inner person when getting involved in a relationship with someone, it is like you have now been assigned a role to play the rest of your life and your true self dies.

This girl I liked once told me when I had a girlfriend that if I was single she'd sleep with me, or that she'd go on dates with me.

Now that Im single she'll hug me out of nowhere, grab my ***, or rub my back for me.

Shes told me things like if I was cheater she'd never give me a chance, and that she thinks about us being together almost everyday.

We have fun together, we laugh and what not, but everytime I try to get her outside of work she makes an excuse for not being able to go out.

Now the thing is I know some of her history, she had a boyfriend that broke her arm, and left her when she got pregnant. So Im thinking maybe shes just scared of guys now.

Now most recently I asked her to hang out with me this weekend and now comes the most confusing thing Ive dealt with from a woman. I told her if she didnt want to hang out that it was cool just and dont be affraid to say no. So her response was "I dont want to say no but I cant say yes"

So what does that mean?
