Im friends with this guy i like and i thinks he likes me back. he says hi to me alot. Once when we were at PE, he sat down next to me and put his arm aroud me quickly and then started talking to me. he asks me for help in math.

More than likely he does or he could just be a really friendly guy. If he doesn't act that way around other people than he definitely does. Guys are sometimes hard to figure out but if you compare how they interact with you to the way they are around others you can usually find out a lot. Hope it helps
