why'd i ask HIM?
...because sometimes to get what you want, you have to go for it. and he said yes so it worked out.

Go out on a "get to know you" date!

Somewhere nice and classy but casual enough for jeans, heels and a nice top

I suggest Olive Garden, Johnny Carinos, or Romano's...

Ask him about family, his life in high school, what he wants to do after high school

Make sure y'all go dutch and split the bill so he knows you can take care of yourself and youre independent enough

Good luck girl!

sixteen? that's a youthful prom. And yeah, after prom is while maximum folk lose their virginity. look chum, I regarded on the previous comments, and no person else is asserting this yet..... in simple terms by way of fact anybody else seems to have intercourse after prom, would not advise that is cool, secure, and/or ok. God's notice (aka, the Bible) of course states that intercourse is meant for marriage and marriage in ordinary terms, so... before you get caught up contained in the party existence and the warmth of the 2nd, think of with regards to the extensive consequences a decision to have intercourse could make. i do no longer recognize you, yet i recognize if I have been you, i'd pay my destiny companion a sprint appreciate by utilising no longer sleeping around. So do no longer do what anybody's doing. in simple terms take a step decrease back chum. you need to be leaping into something poor. Hebrews 13:4 "Marriage must be venerated by utilising all, and the marriage mattress stored organic, for God will decide the adulterer and each and all of the sexually immoral." Please hear, to what i'm asserting :)

I remember my prom!! It was wonderful! Anyways, you guys should go out together, not on a date date, but at least to get to know eachother better. Go out for pizza, or something, to walk around the mall, walk around the park, something that will make the whole prom thing alot less akward. Maybe even meeting the parentals before the prom would be a good thing too......not sure though...my senior prom date was my boyfriend and my mom already knew him...

I'd say plan ahead of schedule. Plan a group date with your friends and their dates, book a limo, look for matching outfits...just for fun.
Don't worry about the awkwardness. Just have fun with it. At least you won't find yourself scrambling at the last minute.
You'll thank yourself later.

Have fun at Prom.

Maybe you should get to know him more. It's okay to say hi when you pass him, and it's okay to talk to him. You should at least know the person a little bit personally if you're going to prom with him.
