what does this involve?

I broke it off with my bf on sat. morning b/c he isn't enjoying school and will move back home in two months. Instead of waiting, i did it now so that it would hurt less for both of us. I still love him and want to be with him but he just doesn't know what he wants. so, i wanted to give him the space he needed to find out what he wants. Should i even consider a long-dist. relationship? as in two hours apart....

FYI..We have been friends for about 1yr. and half and dated for about 3 mths.

My guy does not, we talked about us having children and everything but he does not think is necessary to get married. I was raised with divorced parents and he did not. I know how it feels to not have both parents. Do you think i am exaggerating for this reason?

Okay the easiest answer is probably, "She is ugly", I am not and it's not because I think so, I 've been told so.
I have a low self esteem and have been single for like all my life. There is a guy I am interested in and by the way he talks to me I can tell that he likes me too.

The thing is that I can't get to know people better. When someone asks "Any bfs?" I can only say "No", that makes people go. What do those people feel like? Do they think "Something must be wrong with her since she 's got no bf yet" or "She' s inexperienced, not worth my time"

It even happens on the internet. I say "I am single" and they say "Oh... do you have a pic?"
Of course I am not going to show my pictures to every stranger I meet on the net, so after I refuse people will be either like "You must be ugly -*leaves me" or "Why don't you have a bf? What do you look like?"

All these things make me feel bad for myself. I think I should do something. Any advice?

i know the conventional wisdom is that a woman wants a man who is successful, but that doesn't seem to be the case around me.

i know lots of stable, successful guys who are totally frustrated. and i also know guys who are broke, live with their parents, have no degree and a crappy job, but have women all over them. they might get dumped after a few months because they 'have no ambition,' but they can always find another girl right around the corner. i'm basically talking about folks in the 22-30 age bracket.

are successful guys intimidating?
are irresponsible guys more exciting/fun?
are career-driven guys boring?
do women get off on 'mothering' loser guys?
do women feel they don't deserve better?
maybe a guy without a job has plenty of time to put into his gf?

Dating a 34 year old guy since December. I am 25. He moved in about a month ago. I didnt want him to, but it just kind of happened...he and his roomate did not get along and he had had a car accident. I had a spare room so let him stay. When he got back from a business trip i saw condoms in his see-through bag. I asked him and he said they were old, he was right. Anyway, since that day...ive been visibly upset. He doesnt come home until late bc he goes to work out and read...he also did this after i told him i needed space. This weekend i ended up drinking a little too much and cried for 2 hours. I guess i went in the bathroom and locked the door. He ignored me for 2 days after...finally he spoke and said that that scared him and that i have too many issues and so far he hasnt found anything he likes. He said it wasnt what he thought. He wants to just be friends. I said to give me another chance. He said time will tell. He used to really really like me...is it over now?

hi, first sry my english.
this is my story.

i like a girl since the first time i saw her , she dont know , she dont know me too , i think she likes me coz she is always trying to sit with me (on my side) and she dont even know me , but its almost possible because she always ve many guys around her.

in the last thursday she sitted in the chair by my side (she has with a female friend only , i could not believe she has "alone" finally!) , and started talking with me doing questions , she has nervous.
maybe ill not have another chance like this one (i ve 1 or 2 "discipline" in common with her).

she cant show her interese by me coz she ve boyfriend , and same happens with me.

thanks

Do they need reassurance or something? I like a guy who lives several states away and last week he went back home (in another state) for his spring break. A day before he left, we were talking online and he was like, "you're going to miss me aren't you?" I was like, " :( i will". He was like, " :( I'll miss you too". Then we talked through texts for the remainder of the week while he was on his spring break. Then his last night there, he texted me and was like, "miss me?" Does he need reassurance that I do miss him, even though I've already told him I do? And when he asked that was he hinting at that he missed me too?
