He lives 45 minutes away from me but we still like each other. I just do not know if i should go out with him or not.

By your own admission he’s your ex and you need to think about how and why he’s taken on this title. Have the 2 of you worked on whatever caused you to break up so that it won’t be a problem now? If you and your ex get back together and things don’t work out then you have to deal with the hurt and heartbreak all over again from the same person. Is a relationship with this person really worth that possibility? You and he perhaps should look into being friends but nothing more than that. You should leave your actually love life to be with other people.

same situtation here... to an extent... we've decided to just be friends but still, not the point.
i'm in missouri and he's in cali and we were engaged and still have a thing for one another but then upon review we have decided that we are ex's for a reason and that it should stay that way to keep from further heartache and heartbreak.
this was back in december and now we get along better than ever as ex's... he's my best friend and i'm his. my bf and i are going to go see him this summer and he gets along with my new bf... it's just great.
ex's are ex's for a reason... always remember that.

well you could just meet half way but if you really want to be with him and he wants to be with you the distance won't matter that much.
Just follow your heart and that will lead you in the right direction.
