When you're in love with the idea of someone or the idea of a relationship, rather than truly loving the person. Or an illusion of someone you thought you knew, and loved that person, until you found out later who that person really was.

Love is an illusion. you see that ONE person and falls in love with him/her. Convince yourself that his/her negative image, attitude, character...blah blah are nothing that you cannot handle. perhaps overestimating how much love can do to heal or give you strength to do the unimaginable.. well thats just briefly how i would interpret it

when someone pretends that they really care about you. they are interested in the things that you do and never wanna leave you without them holding you in their arms. then, they break your heart by saying that it was them all along and that they couldn't handle the pressure or something along the lines of cheating with another person. love can do anything to your heart. it just depends on who you are with.
