Do they need reassurance or something? I like a guy who lives several states away and last week he went back home (in another state) for his spring break. A day before he left, we were talking online and he was like, "you're going to miss me aren't you?" I was like, " :( i will". He was like, " :( I'll miss you too". Then we talked through texts for the remainder of the week while he was on his spring break. Then his last night there, he texted me and was like, "miss me?" Does he need reassurance that I do miss him, even though I've already told him I do? And when he asked that was he hinting at that he missed me too?

No, I am definitely not annoyed with this person as I do like him a lot. Just certain things trigger my mind, that's all. Like he'll make random comments to me here and there. Just little stuff like that.

Hes probably hinting that he misses you to. You have to remember that men dont express their feelings that much and that way he is sorta expressing them.

Sounds like you are a little annoyed with this person. Maybe you needed that break. And yes, its sounds like he needed to be reassured that you missed him. He wants to know you think about him as he does you.

Sometimes even though a guy knows you miss him, he likes to have the confirmation that you did miss him.
I ask my fiancee the same thing. sometimes i'm silly about it & i ask her after i step away to get a drink or use the bathroom.... i'll say "Did you miss me?" & she laughs & says "yes, i always miss you when you're away."
If a guy cares for a girl he wants to know that she cares too, and by asking you if you missed him he is, in a way, asking you if you care. It makes me feel special when my fiancee tells me she misses me. If she doesn't say she misses me I still know she does, but I still love when she says it to me with words.
I can't speak for your boyfriend, but i can say that maybe he just likes when you say it to him. Maybe it makes him feel special just like it makes me feel special when my fiancee says it to me.

Guys like to know that we women can't live without them. They want to hear they are loved & needed .
